We have all been there. Despite all the promise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), it has not been easy to get a new generation of applications into production. The promise is there, but moving beyond prototype stage has been very difficult.
First, writing these programs is completely different. There is no way to debug the software. The only answers are to change a prompt or add more training data. And even the world’s greatest experts cannot tell you what exactly is happening.
To make matters worse, the adoption in the enterprise is hard. Workflows are disrupted and of course there are the fears that jobs will be eliminated. Change is hard.
