Using our predictions for AI in the year 2025, we thought it’d valuable to also offer recommendations for businesses trying to navigate the evolving landscape.
At the foundational model level, we believe there is value in dialing-a-new-mode per month—and switching if it breaks. On the design side, retarget your UX to talk and type, first. This will enhance user engagement and improve usability. As you fine tune your models, invest in figuring out what works for you! If it doesn’t work for you, it won’t for others.
When it comes to hardware and AI PCs, make sure you know your budget and as you develop agents, don’t write too much code. Instead, focus on small, narrowly focused agents. And finally, focus on reliability in machine learning operations — and when you go to find customers, it’s crucial to build trust, especially in the wild west environment that exists today.
Companies will develop AI in vastly different ways than one another in the coming year. Some will find success. And some won’t. Following the above, we think, will put developers in the best position to succeed in an environment that crowded - and only going to become more so.
